About the role
An opportunity has arisen for Private Client Adviser to join the Private Clients department at Davy. In the role, the successful candidate will:
- Private Client Adviser for Client Servicing Team (“CST”).
- Responsibility for Client Servicing Team (“CST”) client book, acting as a professional first point of contact for clients and prospective clients.
- Conduct periodic review of Client Servicing Team (“CST”) to ensure suitable client service alignment and delivery.
- Proactive & Ongoing engagement with Private Client Risk, Compliance & Legal to ensure appropriate client engagement.
- Engage with existing Private Client Advisers to provide assistance through Client Servicing Team (“CST”).
- Providing support to wider Client Servicing Team (“CST”) with key project deliverables.
- Facilitate delivery of key Private Client objectives under Project Optimise.
- Ongoing portfolio management, oversight and implementation of trades on client portfolios;
- Engage with various Davy business units including portfolio construction and investment selection teams to address client queries, ensure account compliance and communicate asset or portfolio changes.
- Communication of investment recommendations to clients, including all relevant documentation associated with the advice.
- Prepare client reporting packages and analysis for client meetings;
- Management of follow up activities from client meetings; completion of minutes of meetings and monitoring completion of tasks.
- Updating and monitoring the CRM system on an ongoing basis.
- Liaising with Tax Advisers, Solicitors, Brokers and Life Offices on behalf of servicing our clients.
Requirements
About you
We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:
- Degree or Masters in Business related area;
- One of QFA/APA/Certificate in Stockbroking required;
- CFP desirable or willingness to working toward CFP
- Minimum 3 years Financial services experience;
- Exceptional customer relations and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent oral and written communications skills are required;
- Strong general administration skills and a high level of proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint;
- Must be well organised, accurate in compiling financial data and attentive to detail;
- An ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Important Information
The position set out above is defined in the Fitness & Probity Standards issued by the Central Bank of Ireland (“Fitness & Probity Standards”) as a “Controlled Function (CF)”, namely CF3, CF4, CF10. Therefore there is a requirement to hold, or be willing to take one of the following exams: APA (Regulation & Investment) or Registered Stockbroker or QFA and since function relates to Pensions: APA (Pensions).
