About the team:

You will work within the Corporate Information Technology team, a varied team from all over the globe. We have team members in USA, Australia, UK, Israel, Kuala Lumpur, and we are building a follow the sun support structure. We are a hands-on team and work together to make our end users the most effective they can be.

The Role:

As Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the Corporate IT sector. Day to day tasks include helpdesk tickets from users (Windows & Mac), provisioning and deprovisioning accounts, deploying laptops to users, patching end user systems, and working on long term projects, installing/updating software – it can be a very varied role.

What you will do:

• Provide a best-in-class customer service to GBG team members.
• Cover the entire lifecycle of an employee including the setup and configuration of laptops for new hires.
• Manage of their ongoing trouble tickets, through any eventual termination
• Brief new hires on how to use key systems and how to reach out for your team's help in the future.
• Provide first and second line support for hardware and software problems and requests, including networking and printer issues.
• Maintain an inventory of equipment out in the field and keep track of equipment that needs to be replaced or re-provisioned.
• Patching of all user laptops/desktops Mac and Windows based.

Requirements

What we're looking for:

• Good experience supporting Microsoft Windows machines in a professional office environment.
• Good application of support process, including Incident, Problem, Request, Event and Change Management.
• Good experience providing a best-in-class customer service to end users, including regular meaningful communication.
• Good application of technical procedures and maintaining technical knowledge base to rapidly resolve issues.
• Self-motivated individual with strong people skills and a knack for problem-solving
• Functioning knowledge of Apple Mac OS.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Office 365, basic Microsoft Exchange administration (including PowerShell), SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP, RADIUS.
• Knowledge of both Apple and PC hardware.
• Experience with printers, docking stations, and wireless peripheral setup.
• Familiar with the following applications: Jamf, Manage Engine Endpoint Central, CrashPlan, Jira, & Confluence is a plus.
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs (monitors, workstations, servers, etc.).
• Experience working and supporting remotely is a plus.
