Job Summary

Works in GIS and database applications which model electric utility distribution systems. Requires understanding of functional business processes as they relate to design, construction and operations as well as a working understanding of data attributes that support these business processes. Requires the ability to create a connected model that replicates the electric distribution system.  This system is the backbone for Dominion Energy Operations, including Outage Management, Customer Management, Billing, Maintenance, Switching and Safety. This role performs and manages QA/QC processes. Must be available to work emergency and planned overtime.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Seeking an intern that is pursuing a Geography or Computer Science degree or related field.

•    Graduation date of Spring 2027 or later
•    Candidates must have a 2.5 minimum GPA
•    Must have a valid driver’s license

•    Experience with Microsoft Office products is desired.
•    Must be able to follow instructions and be a team player.
•    Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
•    Good communication skills, technical skills, and computer skills.
•    An inquisitive nature, an ability to follow written and verbal directions, and strong professional ethics.

•    Analytical and detail oriented
