House Attendant Overnight

Job Description:

The Emily Hotel Chicago is seeking a highly motivated, outgoing individual with a passion for hospitality. The House Attendant maintains the cleanliness of guest corridors, elevators, stairwells, and all assigned areas of the property. The Attendant completes special projects as assigned, and ensures standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness are maintained throughout the property. All team members must ensure the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.

What Will You Do?

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Qualified candidates must be able to satisfactorily complete the following responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned.

• Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop guestrooms, stairwells, all back of the house and public space areas.
• Clean and remove spots from corridor walls, light fixtures, elevator tracks, and doors
• Assist trash and linen house persons with removal of large items from the guest corridors.
• Assist Room Attendants with linen and supply requests.
• Assist Room Attendants in stripping rooms and picking up garbage if needed.
• Maintain all closets as per established cleanliness, linen and supply pars.
• Respond to all Hotel Expert calls and close within a timely matter.

What You Bring?

• Knowledge of Hospitality Industry
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Salary Range:

$24.00 - $26.00
