Co-Ordinator Medical Orderlies (521470) LGH

The Team:

You will be responsible for managing a diverse team and also be required to proactively develop and maintain effective collaborative relationships, with hospital unit managers, and other staff to ensure that high quality, timely and well coordinated support services are provided. The Medical Orderly team are a small piece of the big puzzle working within the LGH, and we are required to provide our services, to many of the professionals that we work alongside on a daily basis. The aim is to achieve the best results for the community who utilise our service. 

The Role:

The position has operational responsibility for delivering medical orderly and fleet services to broad range of clinical units within the Launceston General Hospital.

1. Providing leadership and direction in the day-to-day coordination of medical orderly services.
2. Provide an efficient specialist medical orderly service to all areas of the Hospital.

Details of appointment:

Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, to commence as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $98,255 to $103,069 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Agreement (Health and Human Services (Tasmanian State Service) Award).

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
