What You’ll Do
Summary/Objective:
Responsible for overall management, service quality, growth, and profitability of DCU's Broker/Dealer
relationship and investment department (Digital Investment Services), DCU's real estate agency (DCU
Realty), and DCU's property and casualty insurance agency (DCU Insurance).
Develops and maintains effective integration of these services into the offerings of Branch Services, Mortgage Lending, and Consumer Lending.
As a member of the Leadership team, participates in developing and implementing DCU strategy and achievement of credit union goals and objectives.
Essential Functions:

- Develops strategic plans and budgets for the growth, competitiveness, and success of the
businesses.
- Sets clear priorities and goals for management teams, balancing long-term objectives and immediate needs.
- Develops and manages annual budgets to fiscal responsibility targets.
- Recruit, train, motivate, evaluate, and lead an effective, service-oriented salesforce for each business.
- Ensures the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures within areas of responsibility and that these procedures are written, communicated, and followed.
- Develop and maintain collaboration between departments to maximize effective cross-sale/referral opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with credit union and department procedures, policies, and all applicable laws and regulations for the three businesses. Serve as the primary contact for all inspections by and inquiries. From FINRA, SEC, and state regulatory authorities concerning the broker/dealer and registered personnel. Ensure required records are maintained for lines of business.
- Responsible for managing quarterly board meetings on behalf of the CUSOs.
- Consistently provide input toward credit union plans and strategies as a part of the leadership team.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Managers(s).
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's Degree required and advanced/ongoing training and education preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive sales management and supervisory experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of SEC and FINRA regulation.
- Thorough knowledge of securities registration regulations and processes.
- Proven experience in securities product sales through various distribution channels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear, focused, and concise manner.
- FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, series 65 or 66, series 51 or 53 licenses required.
- Life, Accident, Health insurance licenses required; Property and Casualty insurance licenses a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
