About the Role:
The Warehouse Supervisor role at the Forest Park location is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily warehousing activities as well as implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards and achieving the appropriate level of volume within time limits. This position is responsible for directing and leading a team of hourly team members and fostering and promoting a continuous improvement and a positive work environment. Other responsibilities include:
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring quality of goods
Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee’s performance
Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
Communicate job expectations and coach employees
Determine staffing levels and assign workload
