Get to Know the Opportunity:
This role manages, directs and leads a sales/relationship/service telephone team of up to 12 - 15 customer retention specialist representatives and/or managed account consultants. This team is the home office Personal Investing organization and responsible for Voya’s service/ annual review and retention initiatives. They engage customers in conversations, grow and retain their relationships, delivery superior customer experience all with a firm eye towards compliance and suitability in an advisory environment. This role will have significant supervisory oversight (call monitoring, call quality, sales effectiveness, and regulatory adherence) as well as direct responsibility of annual review/ lead-gen and retention goal achievement. These individuals will be required to have an in-depth knowledge of all retirement, retail and other investment product offerings as well as an understanding of current business/financial environment and changing regulatory requirements.
Please Note: This position has been designated as an essential worker and requires work to be performed full-time in your assigned office. Office location Greater Boston Area.
The Contributions You’ll Make:
- Ultimate regulatory oversight in a fiduciary environment to staff, train and lead a team of investment advisor representatives while meeting asset retention, lead-gen production and customer satisfaction goals.
- Accountable for adherence to firm’s FINRA (and other regulatory) supervisory guidelines and procedures
- Attainment of asset retention, sales production, consolidation and customer satisfaction goals for their team and the organization
- Participation in the development and execution of business plans to meet organizational strategic initiatives
- Team will focus on handling inbound call volume, assisting customers in all service needs and asset retention of existing assets
- Actively pursue referral opportunities for new sales to existing clients (retail retirement, in plan managed and other in plan assets) through education and guidance of available investment options
- Support initial inbound call volumes, provide coaching and identify referral opportunities working within the Financial Wellness and Retirement Readiness programs
- Participate in outbound campaigns, other duties and projects as assigned.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience:
- Financial services or related sales management experience of 5 – 7 years is preferred.
- Licensure required Series, 7, 24, 63, 65/66.
- Identified individual will exhibit strong sales and customer relationship experience, a full understanding of retirement and retirement income planning, full adherence to FINRA/DOL fiduciary standards (including delivery of service against those standards) and will be dedicated to delivering an outstanding customer experience with every customer interaction.
- Ability to coach, build a team, understand relationship between organizational strategy and business plan components is required.
- Strong work ethic and exceptional leadership traits are required.
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
- College degree is required. MBA, CFP or CFA designations are preferred, not required.
- CRPC designation (may be attained)
