Provides support and/or lead teams through the Engineering development process and implementation of company’s products. Projects are typically shorter-term, less complex and more contained with a defined time frame. Programs are typically longer-term, multi-functional, multi-project with complex requirements and effort. Manage activities, resource capability, schedules, budgets, and ensure cross company communications to facilitate product completion on schedule within budget. Work with engineering management to identify and improve process and program efficiencies. Work can involve external parties such as standards bodies, partners, etc.

How You'll Make Your Mark as a Deal Support Manager under Global Services Organization, you are responsible for leading the end-to-end deal management across global delivery teams, sales, Soln ops, finance, legal, HPEFS and Supply and Order Mgmt function. This role ensures optimization so that order booking and invoicing activity are all managed within the prescribed timeline.  This also includes communication and preparation of Dashboard to set the right expectations with the sales leadership and personnel to avoid escalations. You’ll act as a strategic partner to Sales, Finance, Delivery Leadership, Project Management, Soln ops, OM, HPEFS and Supplychain and Business Operations, driving efficiency, transparency, and continuous improvement in deal management practices.

Key Responsibilities
•    Deal Coordination: Lead end-to-end deal support from proposal creation through contract execution, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and deadlines are met.
•    Pricing & Financial Analysis: Support development of pricing models, cost estimates, and financial scenarios to ensure commercial viability and margin goals.
•    Governance & Compliance: Ensure deals follow internal approval processes, commercial policies, and risk guidelines; coordinate with Legal on contract terms.
•    Sales Support: Partner with Sales to craft compelling proposals, RFP responses, commercial constructs, and value propositions.
•    Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Delivery, Solution Architects, Finance, and Product teams to gather inputs, validate feasibility, and ensure operational readiness.
•    Documentation & Tracking: Maintain accurate deal documentation, manage CRM updates, and track deal progress, risks, and dependencies.
•    Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline deal processes, improve turnaround times, and enhance overall sales effectiveness.
•    Reporting & Insights: Provide regular reporting on pipeline health, deal cycle time, pricing trends, and approval bottlenecks.

Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
•    5+ years of experience in deal support, sales operations, commercial management, or similar function.
•    Strong financial acumen and experience with pricing, cost modeling, or P&L analysis.
•    Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
•    Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
•    High attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving capabilities.
•    Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office/Excel.
