About the role

Proficient at command center duties. Monitor and report on CCTV for any abnormalities or security issues. Assisting with safety inspections for Wells facilities. Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion.

  • Responsible for all command center duties requirements and general patrol duties of the Officer position.
  • Certified and be able to perform CPR, First Aid and use of an AED. Certified Drug and Alcohol technician.
  • Responsible for assigned safety inspections or as a backup for assigned safety inspections and assuring compliance with all safety regulations for assigned inspections.
  • Providing clear concise information to supervisors, co-workers either by radio, written, electronic or in person.
  • Prepare and assist with physical audits, and research and recommend solutions.
  • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized person, or unusual occurrences. Perform investigative and follow up to all irregularities.
  • Patrol industrial and office premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
  • This position will be an overnight schedule. 
  • Must be able to work from 6pm to 6am CST Friday, Saturday, Sunday and every other Thursday.

In addition to the responsibilities listed above, other duties may be assigned by your supervisor, as dictated by business necessity.

  • High School diploma or GED equivalency. 
  • Military or Police Science beneficial. 0-2 years security experience. 
  • Computer experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and communication skills required 
  • Skill in utilizing building security and lock systems and procedures 
  • Ability to detect problems, report information to appropriate personnel, understand and follow safety procedures, and follow specific instructions and procedures. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. 
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns as well as gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
