Sentara Therapy Center - Coliseum in Hampton, VA is hiring a Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) to work a 14-week assignment!

• Late September start date
• Temporary Full Time, 14-week assignment
• Day shift
• 40 hours/week: 5 8-hour shifts
• $65.00/hr!
• No benefits

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Level Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Occupational Therapist License (OT) - State license - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• NBCOT (National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required within 6 months of eligibility.

Sentara Therapy Center - Coliseum is sensitive to each individuals fitness needs, including the physically limited, the elderly and those in chronic pain. The entire staff of licensed physical therapists and certified athletic trainers is CPR certified and is kept current in up-to-date treatment techniques available to athletes of all abilities. The professionals at Sentara Therapy Center are frequently asked to share their expertise through community education.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury, and help build or restore vocational/ daily living skills as well as general independence.

Also, Provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

Job Summary
