You are:

Business Functional Analyst - Records Management Consultant

The Task Management Tool (TMT) Team is seeking a Business Consultant with a strong competency in electronic records management and information governance to support TMT clients. You will navigate a complex work environment functionally supporting our product users and software application while simultaneously leading the TMT records management initiative. You will be supported both on-site and remotely by experienced specialists in technology, application development, and project management. This is an exciting opportunity to spearhead an initiative with significant project and DoD-wide impact!

You will be able to handle a large amount of responsibility that include:

  • Create and manage relationships with client’s records management specialists (Records Officers, Records Custodians, CIO Office Leaders) across TMT’s extensive DoD client base

  • Collaborate with numerous DoD clients to gain insights on how the records created in the Task Management Tool are influenced by the client's existing and future records policies (Files Plans, Disposition, Ownership, and Retention)

  • Be a subject matter expert on the Federal Records Act, National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) policies, and DoD Records Management guidance

  • Directly manage relationships with records management vendors and partners

  • Utilize strong oral and written communication skills to deal effectively with complex issues and differing approaches and views held by other managers, liaisons, and principal staff members on records management.

  • Be able to successfully work across multiple functional client engagements while simultaneously leading the TMT records management initiative

  • Analyze client processes and help the client incorporate process improvements into the tool

  • Mentor Analyst level team members and provide oversight of their work while providing performance feedback for improvement

  • Support additional Enterprise TMT efforts (i.e., Standardization, ad-hoc requests, etc.)

 

Here's what you need:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with DoD records management experience to include National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) policies

  • Minimum 1 year of experience supporting software solutions

The Extras:

  • US Citizenship; no dual citizens

Bonus Points If You Have
 

  • Microsoft Purview Records Management experience

  • Records management certifications, to include:

  • Certified Records Manager (CRM), Certified Information Professional (CIP), Certified Electronic Records Manager (CERM), Information Governance Professional (IGP), Certified Document Imaging Architect (CDIA)

  • Previous Military experience and/or DoD consulting experience
