Job Description

• Assist the Craftsmen in troubleshoot difficult electrical and mechanical discrepancies to determine the best corrective action.  
• Coordinates shift activities providing guidance throughout the shift concerning equipment priorities.  
• Monitors Craftsmen performance and audit activities to ensure personnel are performing their roles.  
• Ensure that EH&S rules are followed by Craftsman.  
• Actively identifies sources of risk and maintenance responsibility for risk mitigation using JHAs as primary communication tool.  
• Ensures proper shift to shift handovers – Craftsman to Craftsman.  
• Communicates with GMLs concerning maintenance priorities, work activities and shift responsibilities.  
• Serves as a vessel for cascading information to their shift.  
• Works with all areas Production TPLs to reallocate maintenance to TPL-determined priority issues.  
• Works with other areas TMLs to reallocate maintenance from area to area as need to support plant priorities.  
• Actively monitors and improves their area’s 5S. (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, & Sustain).  
• Confirms SAP work orders generated for the jobs on their shift.  
• Follows equipment downtime escalation protocol for each assigned MPG.  
• Performs other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering Technology, Industrial Electronics or Mechanical Engineering Technology preferred. Relevant military training may be considered in lieu of a degree in Mechanical or Electronics Technology. Relevant Military or work experience may be considered in lieu of education.  

Requirements:  

• 2 - 5 years industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment in a leadership role.   
• Positive work history with an ability to manage multiple tasks.  
• Computer aptitude, to include proficiency in MS Office, to include Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Visio, and Project Management.  
• Autocad knowledge preferred.  
• SAP PM experience preferred.
