Principal Community Strategist, Student Engagement & Product
Team: Adobe Students – Community
Level: Principal
Adobe is building a connected, student-first community ecosystem across K–12, Higher Education, and early career. We’re seeking a Principal Community Strategist to define how our diverse, global community of students engage with Adobe’s community and to serve as the primary bridge between our student community and Adobe’s product organization.
This role will serve as the primary liaison between Adobe's student community and product teams, translating community signals into actionable insights that inform roadmap decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Define and evolve Adobe’s student community engagement strategy, designing the models, frameworks, and feedback systems that drive sustained participation across our global student community efforts and connect directly with our product building efforts.
- Partner with Product, PMM, and Design to stand up campus-based product pilots and feedback loops that validate hypotheses and surface unmet student needs.
- Architect structured co-creation mechanisms that give students a persistent voice in Adobe’s product and content direction.
- Design inclusive engagement frameworks and participation models that community program leads use to activate students at scale, from broadcast reach through deep co-creation.
- Establish cross-functional operating rhythms and reporting that connect community engagement patterns to product adoption, retention, and business outcomes.
- Identify opportunities where student community insights can accelerate Adobe’s relevance in academic and early-career workflows.
What You Bring
- 8+ years in community strategy, product strategy, engagement design, or related fields, ideally with experience connecting community insights to product decisions.
- Proven ability to design engagement systems that drive measurable, sustained participation, not just one-off activations.
- Experience partnering directly with Product teams and influencing roadmap decisions through structured user feedback.
- Strong analytical instinct for translating qualitative community signals into quantitative product insights.
- Operational rigor to build frameworks, playbooks, and cross-functional alignment across multiple teams.
- Deep understanding of student motivations, academic workflows, and how community participation intersects with product adoption.
