VP of Technical Solutions

IV.AI Group (a subsidiary of IV.AI) is looking for a VP of Technical Solutions for the engineering team to help support their growing list of enterprise clients with their on-going technical and data science needs. The role will be reporting directly to the CTO and will collaborate closely with the Sales teams to help clients achieve their technical and data science goals. The role is a mix of Software Engineering, Data Science and Machine Learning. We're a distributed team that works collaboratively across the globe.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with SVP of Business Development to identify complexity and resource requirements for client needs
• Crafting and strategizing technical approaches based on proven structures for prospective clients
• Understand the needs and work directly with other full-stack engineers, AI engineers, and data scientists on client-focused builds to achieve strategic objectives.
• Grow strong customer relationships, especially with key customer stakeholders and partners
• Write clean and concise code that can easily be collaborated on by other team members
• Assist customers’ technical requests and take care of any technical issues
• Always strive to provide exceptional customer experience
• Make sure all deliverables arrive in good order, on time, and fulfill customers’ requirements
• Communicate the progress to both internal and external stakeholders
• Take initiatives in identifying growth opportunities
• Collaborate with our team to achieve sustainable growth

Requirements

Great engineers come from different backgrounds: some are educated and some are self-taught. We’re a team of engineers that embodies this: so we’re not necessarily looking for a CS Masters or a Ph.D.… what we are looking for is someone who cares about shipping to clients, is creative in their outlook to solving problems, and also considers the details. If you have the following experience, then we’d love to hear from you:

• 5+ years experience in Software Engineering/Data Science/Machine Learning

Preferred Experience

• A proven track record of writing software in Python
• Some experience with scikit-learn, Tensorflow, Pytorch, etc
• Some experience with Typescript and a reasonable understanding web applications
• Some experience with data integration, pipeline auditing, and recommendation engines
• Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and context switching to different partner requirements
• A listener who is customer-oriented and attentive to their needs
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills and a team player
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills

Bonus Experience

• Data modeling experience
• Examples of shipping production-level code
• Go/Scala/TypeScript experience
