Position Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on and collaborative Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations at our Sudbury, MA facility. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising production staff, coordinating workflow, and ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards. Experience in the food, nutritional, or dietary supplement industry is highly desirable.
Success in this position requires strong leadership skills, a team-first mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Sr. Production Manager, the Production Supervisor plays a key role in fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. This position also serves as a backup to the Sr. Production Manager, providing additional leadership support and operational oversight when needed.

Work Schedule: 2:20 PM - 1:00 AM / Monday - Friday (Rotating Saturdays required)
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and ensure the accurate and timely completion of batch production records.

Supervise production employees, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed effectively and staffing positions are appropriately covered.

Proactively identify and communicate equipment, material, or production issues to management.

Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment by educating and guiding employees on the proper use of equipment, resources, and established control procedures.

Support compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Address employee concerns and performance issues by gathering information, investigating root causes, and implementing appropriate solutions.

Contribute to the development, review, and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ensure team members are properly trained and consistently following them.

Ensure manufacturing and packaging operations comply with all food safety, quality, and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) requirements, as well as HACCP, NSF, and SQF standards.

Maintain expertise in GMP requirements and ensure all production personnel adhere to established processes and procedures.

Foster a collaborative, productive, and team-oriented work environment while supporting departmental goals and objectives.

Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Experience & Education Requirements:
- High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
