Senior Project Manager, Talent Pipeline Project (2-year contract)
Salary Range $100K - $125K

As a Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in the success of this multi-organizational initiative by creating strong processes, new tools and cultivating a following around this collaborative approach to recruiting. You’ll connect in a dynamic environment and create a positive impact on our community, and the world.
As the Project Manager of the Talent Pipeline, you will be responsible for engaging a firm that will develop a leadership paradigm, engage a technology firm to build a database, create a network of key personnel to identify talent, engage with BBYO’s Alumni Association, recruit partners to join in the project, and establish guidelines of privacy to protect all parties. This position will report to the CEO of BBYO and will be a part of the Talent Team.

You have experience coordinating and prioritizing multiple ideas and projects within a deadline-driven environment, while remaining flexible to respond to and manage the unexpected. You can identify high potential leadership candidates with high inclination for long careers at Jewish non-profits to eventually feed our Executive Leadership positions. You are excited about gathering and sharing data to allow multiple organization to benefit from the specific access points and expertise of each participating organization. Shaping the Future for Teens and Yourself:
As a Project Manager, a typical day will include:
- Working with Jewish non-profits such as Hillel, Foundation for Jewish Camps, MemGlobal and others to understand information that will contribute to this project
- Managing vendor relationships to build new programs. Contract development
- Working collaboratively with program team leadership to gather information for system build outs
- Organize research strategy sessions with team members to identify prospects and develop strategies for moving prospects through the pipeline
- Provide executive level updates and presentations to each participating organization
- Provide briefing materials about process and tools to include training sessions and rollouts
- Working with finance team to build programmatic budgets, produce accurate and timely financial reports, and ensure proper expense tracking
Essential Skills for Making a Lasting Impact:
- Washington, DC preferred, open to remote locations
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree, PMP or equivalent experience in nonprofit management, project management, organizational development, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, or recruitment, ideally within the nonprofit or Jewish community sectors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other project management tools.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the Jewish community and familiarity with Jewish nonprofit organizations preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to drive decision-making and measure success.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Travel Requirement: 10% +; including Staff Conference, BBYO International Convention
- Capacity to take initiative and lead projects from beginning to end, including working with vendors
- Ability to draft and deliver contracts
- Ability to be a team player in a fast-paced environment
- Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail
