As the director you will lead and mentor the team of recruitment logistics, develop the recruitment strategy and marketing plan to increase positive awareness of SCAD to support and facilitate successful college search processes for the highest quality students, and plan recruitment events with a focus on market-driven recruitment opportunities. Responsibilities include managing the budget and staffing plan as well as collaboratively managing the recruitment logistics and working from it to request and schedule recruitment presentations and ensure adequate coverage at all admission events for which you will recommend cities, venues, and facilitators. In the role of director, you will manage logistical issues that may arise, manage the scalation plan for priority visit, audit recruitment trips and calendars for assistant directors of admission to ensure maximized recruitment activity, and oversee accuracy in data management.
You will also serve as a liaison between the assistant directors of admission and educators/counselors at targeted visit schools and with the department of career and alumni success to provide updates to admission staff for recruiting purposes. Other responsibilities include traveling to represent the college at off-campus events, promoting school visits and information sessions via mailing visit posters, training new logistics team employees, and communicating observations and insights to the recruitment management team from interactions with key educators and counselors. Additionally, you may be required to cover LivePerson shifts, meet with prospective students, and participate in special events.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong data management, organizational, and writing skills
- Ability to work independently
Certificates, licenses, and registrations:
- Valid driver’s license
Travel Required:
- 20-40%
Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
