After-School Teacher | Mint Hill & Huntersville
The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking After-School / School-Age Teachers for our NC 4-star rated schools in the Charlotte metro area, including Mint Hill and Huntersville. Positions are flexible and can be full-time or part-time. We are hiring immediately, and would love to meet you.
Pay rate of $16-18 per hour
Pay rate is determined by relevant education and experience. Candidates with a high school diploma and limited experience will be paid at the lower end of the range. Candidates with EDU 119 to an associate’s degree in early childhood education or a related field may be paid mid-range. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field and applicable experience may be paid at the higher end of the range.

Teacher Responsibilities:
- Implement our award-winning curriculum in a way that meets each child's learning style.
- Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
- Foster positive relationships with children and families
- Share with families the important milestones in a child’s day using our app.
- Have fun and work as part of a supportive team!
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- BSAC or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Experience working with school-age children in a licensed center setting preferred.
