Sr. Principal GaN Technology Development Engineer (m/f/d)

<p><b>What you will do</b></p><ul><li>Lead and contribute to the development and maturation of GaN technology platforms</li><li>Identify and implement novel technology concepts to enhance device performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including epitaxy, process engineering, layout, and simulation to optimize technology architecture</li><li>Define and support the development of test structures and methodologies for in-depth technology characterization and reliability assessment</li><li>Analyze experimental data, extract key insights, and deliver concise technical summaries to guide technology roadmap decisions</li><li>Work closely with internal and external R&amp;D and manufacturing partners to accelerate technology transfer and industrialization</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within a global, multicultural team environment</li><li>Own assigned program roadmap, consolidating required information and reviewing quality aspects, among others</li><li>Monitor / track value engineering activities</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you will need</b></p><ul><li>PhD in Experimental Physics, Electronics Engineering, or a similar discipline</li><li>Minimum 5 years of demonstrated working experience in power semiconductor technology, preferably GaN development in industrial environment</li><li>In-depth knowledge of power semiconductor devices, ideally wide band gap GaN HEMTs</li><li>Initial experience in power semiconductor product development, ideally wide band gap GaN HEMTs, gained within an industrial setting</li><li>Ability to communicate complex concepts and requirements clearly and to influence stakeholders at all levels</li><li>Team player with a strong drive to achieve success</li><li>Fluency in English, conversational German is desirable</li><li>Good communication skills, both verbal and in writing</li><li>Willingness to travel occasionally</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Talent acquisition based on Nexperia vacancies is not appreciated.
