Overview of the Team
Situated within the Enterprise Chief Data Office (ECDO), the Data Privacy, Use and Records Management team leads the programs focused on:
- effectively and efficiently managing data that is subject to Privacy requirements globally
- effectively and efficiently managing records, ensuring that we both retain and dispose of data and documents as required
Within this context, the Implementation & Developments team manages Enterprise implementation projects and also monitors and reports on Data transformation activities relating to Privacy, Use and Records Management.
Role / Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager takes responsibility for multiple projects, managing and driving activities to achieve timely completion in line with the stated goals. They are responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specified projects ensuring consistency with Citi project management governance, providing overall guidance and direction to their team members.

Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of projects in scope for Privacy, Usage and Records Management
- Manages a small number of project managers directly and also oversees the activity of other project managers assigned to the particular projects
- Lead the development and management of project plans to deliver against strategic risk and control objectives.
- Employ Citi standard project processes, procedures, and methods for project delivery, including execution of change, dependency and risk management as part of plan monitoring
- Resolve complex problems where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines or processes.
- Ensure change control is executed throughout the project.
- Develop business cases in alignment with key stakeholders
- Manage overall project costs and variances
- Establish project communication plans.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of direct project management experience in a Financial organization
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience and ease in interfacing with Senior Management and large project teams.
- Proven experience reporting to senior stakeholders, including roadmap, status, risks and issues
- Excellent influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills.
- Very strong skills needed in PowerPoint to create meaningful presentations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - proven ability to communicate effectively, drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels.
- Able to lead and facilitate meetings and workshops with a range of stakeholders
- Proven ability to act independently and thrive in a varied, fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
The Data Privacy Sr Lead Analyst is responsible for providing governance and oversight, operational risk management and controls leadership across the respective business for all activities associated with Privacy. This individual will have responsibility for ensuring compliance with the Citi Global Privacy Policy, identification and management of operational risks associated with Privacy and working across the business to ensure that effective controls and monitoring are in place to reduce risk.
Responsibilities:
- Complete the Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) process and controls required for all initiatives, new products and services
- Assess, evaluate, and validate controls through processes and tools such as the MCA and KRIs as appropriate for data privacy risk
- Support the business in reviewing, maintaining, and enhancing Permanent Control Readiness
- Support product heads, function heads, COOs and In Business Risk teams on gap analysis and the implementation of global policy requirements and regional standards, as well as the assessment of the legal and regulatory requirements with Country Legal and Compliance as well as the development of local procedures as it relates to Data Privacy
- Support periodic reviews of the Business’s data privacy processes and control and validate changes as a result of such reviews
