JOB SUMMARY:

Works with internal and external clients to ensure accuracy of Payments and revenue accounts and allocation among business partners including Fees Forecasting and postings. Ensures proper operational & business trend analysis & various automation reporting. Supports management in developing financial analysis, reporting, estimation, and budgeting. Other duties include analyzing and process Payments Accounts Reconciliation (C/C, GC & HC); Refunds in general, Chargebacks, maintaining financial system updated, preparing G/L reconciliations, coordinating/overseen month-end close tasks, and accounting system troubleshooting. Responds to internal & external audit inquiries.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Audits and reconciles payments/Refunds/CBs & Revenues and adjustments as needed.
  • Maintains accounting system codes & provide support & reporting. Troubleshoots accounting variance errors & discrepancies.
  • Uses departmental expertise to respond to inquiries from internal & external clients. Assists with management requests as needed for report automations.
  • Coordinates interim & period-end close tasks & reporting.
  • Maintains & executes accounting processes related to C/C, GC and HC, audits, and sales incentive plans (testing support).
  • Provides periodic financial estimates/forecasting and reports; maintain G/L reconciliations; provide broad financial data analysis; assist with all internal & external audits. Reviews contracts as required. Special project tasks as assigned.
  • Prepares departmental metrics. Processes required G/L journal entries. Prepares critical financial analysis reports & business trend analyses. Assists with various incidental tasks that require moderate to advance spreadsheet and analytical expertise.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • High school degree or GED required.
  • Associate’s degree (AA) preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of experience in finance, auditing; or combination of education and experience.
