Lucayan Technology LLC is hiring a Cable/Infrastructure Technician to support the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Information Technology Enterprise Operations and Maintenance Contract (IT EOM). USSOCOM requires comprehensive worldwide information technology (IT) support to operate and maintain the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Information Enterprise (SIE).

Cable/Infrastructure Technician requires excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as the ability to terminate, test and troubleshoot secure/non-secure voice, video, data and radio frequency cable infrastructure. Requires relevant training, as well as hands-on experience working with cable infrastructure.

General duties include:

• Installing new cable
• Terminating and testing new cable
• Testing and troubleshooting faulty cable
• Cross-connecting circuits using patch panels
• Maintaining core datacenter infrastructure; following cabling and organization standards
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs

Requirements

• Clearance Requirements: Active TS/SCI clearance required
• Education Requirements: None
• Certification Requirements:
• BICSI Installer 2, Copper * OR
• BICSI Installer 2, Optical Fiber *
• Experience Requirements:
• At least two years of hands-on experience working with cable infrastructure.
