Job Description
The NBCU Cable Entertainment Operations Manager is responsible for leading and managing team initiatives. Partner with leads across marketing and all key areas of the business with the goal of optimizing our tools and processes. Solution-oriented, innovative focus on improving efficiency and effectiveness of our workflows across the business. Includes cross functional collaboration with other departments, while reporting to Senior Director, NBCU Cable Entertainment Operations
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support, lead and implement consistent processes and best practices across a variety of marketing disciplines
- Become an expert and champion our tools and systems (including but not limited to Slack, Airtable, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Frame.io, Source Audio, Stock Footage/Image and Font Foundries, etc)
- Review, co-author and maintain legal agreements and vendor onboarding rules and regulations for the production team
- Develop relationships with diverse external creative and production partners who can elevate the overall profile of the network and the quality of output
- Seek out partners across the NBCU org to audit and learn best practices
- Partner with the Post-Production side of our team to align on tools, best practices, processes and workflows
- Maintain up to date information and resources across our platforms and communication tools
- Foster relationships with team leads across all disciplines
- Work with team to create yearly roadmaps and project prioritization
- Identify and report on project KPIs utilizing data and team insights for year end reporting
- Manage special projects as needed
- Assist in planning and executing team events / experiences
- Train and manage Pages and/or Interns assigned to the team
Mentor junior staff on the team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of operations or project management experience
DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:
- Experience working at a broadcast network, streaming service, media agency, or production company
- Experience working in Airtable or similar

- Ability to juggle many priorities while at the same time maintaining good attention to detail and a positive, collaborative attitude
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Willingness to work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
- Must be willing to work in New York, NY office
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $80,000 - $105,000 (bonus eligible)
