The Accounts Payable Coordinator is central to supporting Momofuku’s business by ensuring accuracy and efficiency of processes. The Executive Assistant will need to have strong written and verbal communication skills, exhibit exceptional attention to detail, and have the ability to maintain balance among multiple priorities. This role is critical in maintaining precise records and facilitating seamless financial operations.
Compensation Band: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour

Responsibilities
- Manage recurring invoices to ensure proper and timely expense recognition against budget
- Manage external vendor relationships and handle all Accounts Payable communication
- Create and negotiate terms and discounts for new vendor accounts for existing restaurants and new store openings
- Review invoice batches created by restaurant operators and third party accounting firms for accuracy and compliance
- Issue year end IRS tax forms by collaborating with external accounting firm (ie. 1099)
- Calculate management fee and percentage rent during monthly close
- Assist in internal and external audit preparation by generating requested reports - ie. vendor aging analysis, outstanding accounts receivable balances, inventory comparisons, etc.
- Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential
- Compile weekly check runs and present to CFO for approval
- Calculate and record quarterly depreciation
- Assist with inventory management and monthly review process
- Update job knowledge by participating in education opportunities
Required Qualifications
- BA Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of accounts payable experience required
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced atmosphere
- Discretion and professionalism at all times
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
- Energetic and team-oriented with a "no task is too big or too small" mentality
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite as well as Google (email and calendars)
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience assisting with reconciliation tasks related to internal and external financial audits with minimal supervision
- Basic knowledge of US restaurant and food scene strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency with Restaurant 365
- Proven track record of positively impacting COGS through strong management of accounts payable
- Proven track record building and maintaining strong positive relationships with external vendors and key stakeholders with direct impact to financial performance
- Experience with implementing accounts payable systems and processes for new store openings - preferred restaurant openings
