A Brief Overview
The position assembles, verifies and handles data input and other transactions related to payroll. This position works on a full range of payroll activities precisely in the aspect of heading the timely and accurate processing of all payroll related operations, including local, state, and federal regulations, as well as internal and finance guidelines for the company and for the payroll team.

What you will do
- Processes payroll for enterprise-level customers, verifies hours, deduction and ensures that payroll is processed in accordance with local, state and federal regulations
- Documents workflow and work procedures; ensures controls for payroll processing are followed
- Works with payroll and cross-functional teams to correct any erroneous data before finalizing payroll
- Assists with other payroll related special projects, including internal and external audit requests
- Serves as the first point of escalation and adopt a customer-centric approach in resolving customer issues
- Offers mentoring, support, and training for other members of the team as necessary
- Coordinates third party payroll system implementations and upgrades. Interprets pay policies, (e.g., vacation, leave of absence, disability, workers compensation, union contracts, government regulations, withholding exemptions, etc.) and ensures appropriate amounts/deductions are calculated and applied to the various accounts correctly
- Performs other duties as assigned

Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience-Preferred
Experience Qualifications
- Typically 5+ years
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to apply analytical thinking to research and document transactions following Payroll procedures
- Understand advance payroll concepts and accounting principles
- Effectively articulate with employees with an emphasis to use proper payroll terminology
- Effective with the use of Payroll systems, Case Management tools/tracker, Call Center tools, Access database, and other related applications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

The salary range for this role is $60,600 to $123,700. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.
A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
