About this Position
The incumbent performs various functions within the department. The position consists of processing incoming electronic requests and mail from PFS Representatives. Prep incoming checks received with Licensing exam requests, negative balance, continuing education fee and create deposit detail for Cash Control. Prep incoming U4 Applications and process all fingerprints. May be needed to perform miscellaneous functions as required.Salary is: $32K
Hybrid Role: Onsite in our Duluth Office first 30 days of training. Hybrid after training.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews and sorts by type of request. Prepares work for scanning.
- Write agents code number on the check for RPS processing. Inputs agents name, code number and check amount on the spreadsheet for each check for deposit
- Verify that the rep has an open profile. Verify that the rep has passed the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam. Release fingerprints through BIG (Business Information Group, a vendor) to FINRA.
- Performs review of new U4 applications in accordance with FINRA Rules and Regulations and determines if in good order for processing or must be kicked back.
- Review agent of Life Systems, Agent Historical Tracking system, and E9, for past Disclosures issues or customer complaints.
- Review fees paid.
- Order Character Reference Letters (CRL) for the past employer of the last three years.
- Forward copy to SRR for processing if the U4s has “yes” answers to any Disclosure question.
- Communicates to reps any deviancies and works to resolve them.
- Perform any needed items in department. This may include quality control of work items, assisting with Business Assessment processes, and testing new systems and enhancements.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of policies and procedures.
- Ability to identify departmental workflow without previous knowledge.
- Ability to identify problems and formulate solutions to problems.
- Ability to interact with senior management as well as technical personnel.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent letter composition skills, including use of proper grammar and punctuation Proof reading
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
