General Manager, Athens

Opened in 2020, the Athens office has rapidly become our EMEA Hub. As we continue to invest in the high growth trajectory of this office, we are looking for an entrepreneurial leader to drive commercial success in the EMEA region.  

What You Will Do:   

• Develop and implement effective business and operational strategies aligned with Guidepoint's overall objectives and key results  
• Assess current processes and design strategies to enhance overall efficiency and optimization  
• Collaborate with senior management to establish clear and measurable strategic goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)  
• Ensure that regional business strategies align with Guidepoint’s organizational objectives and establish strong collaborative relationships with corporate teams   
• Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages innovation, accountability and high performance  
• Develop and implement resource allocation strategies to meet business demands while adhering to budget plans  
• Introduce innovative solutions and technologies to enhance business efficiency and adapt to changing business needs  
• Provide regular and transparent reports to senior management on key performance indicators, highlighting achievements, areas for improvement, and any necessary adjustments to business strategies  

 What We Expect From You:  

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA is a plus  
• 15+ years of experience in a global organization with a track record of leading a sizable team with a matrix structure  
• 5+ years of management experience leading a team of early career professionals in a competitive, sales-driven environment
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills 
• Professional level fluency in English and Greek language
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams 
• In-depth knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technology
