Senior Division Controller

Georg Fischer Building Flow Solutions division is looking for a Senior Division Controller to support the performance management together with financial planning and forecasting process for the division. As Senior Division Controller you develop division’s reporting in alignment with the group requirements as well as contribute on division level finance projects and efficiency programs. You lead a finance team and report to Vice President, Finance and Business Control, Building Flow Solutions.

You play a key role in developing and supporting division finance team members to reach their full potential, achieve individual and team goals, and contribute meaningfully to the division’s overall success.
 

What will you do? 

• Manage division level financial reporting, planning and forecasting process
• Oversee monthly financial performance analysis and ensure the accuracy of reporting of the division
• Support EMEA business unit in monthly reporting
• Proactively initiate continuous improvement initiatives to automate and improve reporting processes such as business reviews, integrated business & financial planning, and business analytics
• Actively contribute to the division level global finance development projects and programs such as OneStream implementation
• Manage division level investment process together with investment applications analysis and related ROI calculations
• Develop a high-performing finance team across the division
• Collaborate with group finance and executive leadership on cross-functional initiatives
   

What will you need?

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field (accounting, finance or economics)
• 8+ years of finance experience
• Solid knowledge from group consolidation is seen as an asset
• Previous people leadership experience
• Experience as a finance business partner with an understanding of how business leaders use financial and operational information to make better business decisions
• Exemplary strategic planning abilities and critical thinking skills
• Superior written and oral communication skills in English, including the preparation and delivery of effective presentations to senior management
• International experience preferred
• Demonstrated experience forecasting, with a strong background in analytics
