Who You Are: A High-Efficiency Product Manager with a focus on API Management

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be integral to building the product roadmap and strategy and ensuring deliverables are managed across our API and Studio teams to launch new product features on time. You are passionate about being a part of the creation process and have a variety of experiences to draw from as we expand.

In this role, you will define and drive the customer experience and technical features of our API, developer experience, and voice editing Studio suite, working directly with the design and engineering teams. Our ideal teammate would possess natural curiosity, sharp analytical skills, and an enthusiasm for innovation on behalf of customers. 

How You’ll Contribute:  

As a Senior Product Manager at WellSaid, your role will be to ensure WellSaid deeply understands the needs of our customers. You will use that understanding to partner with engineering and design in the creation and execution of our product roadmap. 

In your day-to-day, you will:  

• Drive our API product forward and nurture our developer community
• Develop strong quantitative and qualitative understandings of growth opportunities across user segments, countries, and platforms, and translate those findings into clear, actionable priorities for the product roadmap..
• Form and validate data-driven hypotheses for accelerating customer retention and revenue, working closely with engineering, design, marketing, and analytics.
• Embrace the testing process; develop and deploy hypothesis-driven product changes and integrate usability studies and user research into the product development process to create the best user experience.
• Capture insights from growth test successes and failures, and communicate them to the broader team.
• Lead your squad to deliver high-quality product experiences on time and with precision. You own the execution of a well-defined set of features, ensuring they ship reliably, meet user needs, and contribute to measurable growth.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of market and technology trends and the competitive landscape.
• Contribute to the development of the Product Management practice at WellSaid.
  
  

What We’re Looking For 

To thrive in this role,  you also have some combination of the following: 

• Senior product management experience at a similar-stage tech company or product agency
• Previous experience working on API products and features. You understand how APIs are designed, used, and scaled, and you can translate technical concepts into clear product decisions and customer value.
• Experience using analytics and business intelligence platforms to write reports and perform cohort analysis - in short, you are both creative and technical. You are familiar with the common SaaS KPIs.
• Exceptional communication skills — both written and verbal — with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences. You’re confident presenting product work to the entire company as well as to customers, ensuring clarity and alignment across engineers, designers, executives, and external stakeholders.
• Organization skills that show you are process-oriented.
• Empathy for users - you are eager to discover and resolve their pain points.
• Strong expertise in product design and development, with a track record of partnering closely with designers and engineers to deliver customer-centric solutions. You define and refine intuitive user interfaces, provide clear product direction, and execute against plans with a repeatable process that scales across teams.
• Experience with the Shape Up product development methodology is a plus.
