Who we are looking for

Purpose

Chiesi USA, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Operations Analyst with a strong background in Data Governance and system administration to join our Business Excellence Operations team.  The ideal candidate will play a crucial part in implementing and maintaining robust data governance frameworks, managing data quality, to identify trends and inefficiencies, and supporting cross-functional collaboration to enable data-driven decision making. The position will work a hybrid model out of our Cary, NC office. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time

Main Responsibilities

• Data Governance:
  • Assist in the implementation of data governance frameworks, including metadata management, data lineage tracking, and data stewardship efforts. 
  • Work closely with Data Governance teams to ensure adherence to data policies and compliance requirements
• Data Quality Management: 
  • Conduct data audits to identify and resolve data quality issues within operational systems, if possible, and/or to provide business rules for transformations
  • Develop and implement data quality checks and validation procedures to maintain data integrity. 
  • Monitor data pipelines for inconsistencies and errors, taking corrective actions when necessary. 
• Data Analysis and Reporting: 
  • Extract and analyze operational data to identify trends, patterns, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPI) for various systems benefiting our Data Governance efforts.
  • Collaborate with vendor to develop operational reports/dashboards to visualize key insights and communicate findings to stakeholders across the organization
  • Create ad-hoc analyses to address specific business questions and support decision-making. 
• Data Pipeline Management: 
  • Document and monitor data pipelines to ensure SLAs are maintained
  • Collaborate with data engineers to implement data integration solutions and ensure data consistency across systems.
