Who we are looking for
Purpose
Chiesi USA, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Operations Analyst with a strong background in Data Governance and system administration to join our Business Excellence Operations team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial part in implementing and maintaining robust data governance frameworks, managing data quality, to identify trends and inefficiencies, and supporting cross-functional collaboration to enable data-driven decision making. The position will work a hybrid model out of our Cary, NC office. Main Responsibilities
- Data Governance:
- Assist in the implementation of data governance frameworks, including metadata management, data lineage tracking, and data stewardship efforts.
- Work closely with Data Governance teams to ensure adherence to data policies and compliance requirements
- Data Quality Management:
- Conduct data audits to identify and resolve data quality issues within operational systems, if possible, and/or to provide business rules for transformations
- Develop and implement data quality checks and validation procedures to maintain data integrity.
- Monitor data pipelines for inconsistencies and errors, taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Extract and analyze operational data to identify trends, patterns, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPI) for various systems benefiting our Data Governance efforts.
- Collaborate with vendor to develop operational reports/dashboards to visualize key insights and communicate findings to stakeholders across the organization
- Create ad-hoc analyses to address specific business questions and support decision-making.
- Data Pipeline Management:
- Document and monitor data pipelines to ensure SLAs are maintained
- Collaborate with data engineers to implement data integration solutions and ensure data consistency across systems.
