Job Description

The Senior Integration Architect will be a key member of the Global Architecture and Technology Team and will lead the definition and implementation of the future SGS Integration Strategy and Architecture. Working in partnership with our team of Architects, you will produce the roadmap for the future integration architecture at SGS with a key focus on simplicity, sustainability and agility.

Specifically you will: 

• Define the future vision on the application integration model;
• Define the integration reference architecture for the SGS Group;
• Work with external partners and internal IT teams to implement the new integration architecture;
• Oversee new integration request to ensure adherence to reference. architecture;
• Define integration governance and facilitate its adoption at SGS;
• Participate in complex, challenging and innovative transformation projects.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree, Masters or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience;
• Minimum 5 years experience of working on integration projects designing new disruptive platforms, defining governance and guidelines;
• Experience in designing integration patterns, object construction, and deployment strategies for multi-tiered applications;
• Excellent knowledge of iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service), API Management, EDA (Event Driven Architecture) and self-service integration (adoption and governance);
• Experience in transitioning from on-premise legacy integration platforms to iPaaS and implementing an API-First approach in large complex organizations;
• Expertise in at least one of the leading integration platforms: Azure Integration Services, Mulesoft, Red Hat Integration and / or Oracle Integration Cloud;
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
