Position: Public Finance Senior Banker

Location: Atlanta, GA

The Public Finance Senior Banker utilizes existing key relationships to promote our firm to participate in municipal transactions preferably as Lead or Senior/Co-Manager. The Senior Banker creates and implements cost effective financing solutions for state and municipal clients.

• Primarily responsible for maintaining and cultivating key relationships for inclusion into municipal deals
• Responsible for the full cycle of the deal execution from structuring to closing
• Effectively creates and implements cost effective bond financing solutions for state and municipal clients
• Prepares numeric analysis to structure bond financing issues that meets the requirements of the issuer
• Develops sound long-term financing strategies and capital plans by suggesting innovative revenue generating ideas
• Prepares and presents detailed financial plans incorporating both bond structures and cash flow analyses as needed for clients`
• Provides muni sales and traders with appropriate schedules, financial analysis, and background information
• Review pitch books for accuracy and appropriateness
• Attend various events during non-business hours on behalf of Cabrera to network and cultivate business relationships
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree within Finance or similar. Masters Degree strongly preferred.
• FINRA SIE, series 52 and 63 licenses (or within 90 days of hire)
• Five (5) or more years of industry experience in Public Finance or municipal bond investment banking.
• Strong proficiency with DBC Finance and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent project management, analytical and research abilities
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
• Must be highly organized and demonstrate a strong attention to detail
• Oversee workload and deal flow for analyst and associate team members and provide team leadership
• Self-confident and have the ability to maintain composure in challenging environment
