As a Central Kitchen Lead Production Clerk, you’ll help guide a hardworking team that crafts fresh sandwiches, salads, and specialty items for all in-town store locations. With a focus on quality, efficiency, and team morale, you’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards and creating a positive, productive work environment. 

What you'll do

•  Help lead and motivate the deli production team to meet quality and efficiency goals
• Foster a positive, supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability
• Prepare, slice, weigh, package, and price deli items including sandwiches, salads, and party trays
• Oversee the production of grab-and-go deli items for storewide distribution
• Receive, unload, organize, and stock incoming deliveries
• Label, package, and organize items for distribution and display
• Operate deli equipment safely, including slicers, ovens, steamers, and knives
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized workstations in line with food safety standards
• Update displays and ensure all customer-facing areas are visually appealing and well-stocked
• Confirm all deli products and displays meet company quality and merchandising standards
• Submit orders, organize invoices, and assist in tracking purchases and sales
• Monitor shrink, complete monthly inventory, and assist with department scheduling
• Conduct employee performance reviews and provide coaching and support as needed
• Perform other duties to support the overall success of the deli department

Requirements

A few things you’ll need…

• Candidates must be 18+ years or older
• Complete a pre-employment background check
• Ability to lift heavy items, ranging from 25 to 50 lbs.
• Food Worker Card

These qualifications will help you stand out

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of energy with strong customer service skills
• 3 years previous deli counter or food preparation experience (preferred)
