Position Overview:
Swingtech Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst for an existing DoD Contract. The BA will be responsible for compiling customer requirements, managing the efforts of the development team and maintaining high customer satisfaction through high touch customer support.
Responsibilities
- Manage, track, and prioritize the support issues for the applications specified within the contract.
- Serves as the primary “intake” catalyst for the agency’s 9-step web application support and modification processes and ensures that the development team is focused on Tier 3 issue resolutions.
- Effectively serve the customer base and the development team by routing requirements to the developers and prepare weekly progress reports on all maintenance activities and meetings.
- Work with the customer to elicit and document requirements for all application maintenance efforts, streamline identified requirements using our Agile-based processes, and coach team members on adopting Agile/Scrum practices that are tailored to meet specific business objectives.
- Work with a wide range of team members and stakeholders on the applications specified within the contract.
Requirements:
- Have 8 plus years’ experience as a Business Analyst on IT projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Active Secret clearance
- Experience with ServiceNow Portfolio Management
- Have Agile project management experience or a high degree of familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Be familiar with project management tools, including Microsoft Project and Jira.
- Have a high degree of attention to detail.
- Have experience providing customer support.
- Have strong written and oral communication skills.
- Have a strong sense of organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Be able to facilitate requirements meetings and software demonstrations.
- Experience with stakeholder engagement and facilitation
