Job Description
The Contracts Manager is responsible for the management of the contracts function for the Foreign Military Financing line of business and close coordination with the FMF Sales & Contracts function.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Oversees the coordination, administration, and reporting of Night Vision, DOD, and some commercial business contracts.
- Administers the contract amendment process, and coordinates with other business unit functions to obtain necessary supporting data/information, analysis, and documentation.
- Coordinates, organizes, and leads business unit level Contract Status Review (CSR) meetings as required.
- Manages the analysis and reconciliation of customer orders to ensure alignment and performance with contract deliverables and/or contract requirements.
- Reviews and resolves all issues affecting company and US government contracting compliance, and ensures satisfaction of legal requirements, company and customer objectives.
- Supports business unit proposals through the review and management of proposal contract documentation (i.e., USSP, SOW, Terms and Conditions, etc.), support of contract kick-off activity, and negotiation and audit activities as required.
- Advises business leadership on matters to include: contractual rights and obligations, interpretation(s) of terms and conditions, and contract compliance under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and/or Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
- Responsible for the employment, training, motivation, development, and discipline of direct reports.

Qualifications
Education:
- Master's Degree Preferred (10+ years management experience may substitute)
- Bachelor's Degree Required (5-10 years functional experience may substitute)
Experience Required:
- Functional (Using Skill Set) - 5-10 years
- Management - 5-10 years
- Industry - 5-10 years
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required (Unique and Measurable):
- FAR knowledge and understanding.
