We are seeking a highly organized and motivated IT Project Assistant to provide essential support to our IT project management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to assist in various aspects of project planning, execution, and coordination. As an IT Project Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities: •Assist in creating, maintaining, and updating project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and meeting minutes. •Act as a liaison between project team members, stakeholders, and vendors, ensuring clear and timely communication of project updates, milestones, and changes. •Coordinate meetings, workshops, and conferences related to IT projects, including scheduling, logistics, and preparation of materials. •Assist in tracking project tasks and deliverables, monitoring progress against project plans, and proactively identifying potential delays or issues. •Maintain project budgets and expenses, tracking expenditures to ensure they align with the allocated budget. •Support risk management efforts by assisting in the identification, assessment, and mitigation of project risks and issues. •Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze project-related data, producing insights to aid in decision-making and continuous improvement. •Provide technical support to project team members and end-users, assisting with troubleshooting and problem-solving. •Manage project resources, including hardware, software, and other materials, ensuring availability and proper allocation. •Contribute to the development of project proposals, presentations, and other project-related materials. •Participate in post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions, offering insights to improve future project execution. •Utilize project management software and collaboration tools to facilitate effective project tracking and communication.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ Years experience in a project support or coordination role, preferably within an IT or technology-focused environment
  • 2+ Years Experience using communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • 2+ Years Experience in using project management software and collaboration tools
  • 2+ Years Experience with high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management certification (e.g., CAPM, PMP) or willingness to pursue certification
  • Familiarity with IT project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
  • Experience with any ERP System
  • Experience in any Business Functional Area (Finance, Accounting, Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Basic technical knowledge and understanding of IT concepts.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field or Associates Degree + Relevant Experience
