We are currently looking for a Senior Manager, Global Environmental to join the EHS team for the oversite of all global Grain & Protein Technologies environmental programs, practices, and ensuring the effective application of environmental standards across the organization. The ideal candidate will be the subject matter expert for environmental and develop an analytical partnership in setting enterprise-wide environmental objectives. Create and sustain multiple-site partnerships for ongoing implementation of environmental programs, manage investments in emission mitigation projects, and measures and reports enterprise-wide progress against global regulations. This scope of the position includes all environmental aspects and impacts including, but not limited to, the following: greenhouse gas and air emissions, process waste water, stormwater, hazardous and non-hazardous waste. This position will interface with Local, State and Federal agencies, as well as customers, with regard to sustainable operations, and environmental regulations. Coordination of the facility environmental data management and processes, program development and implementation.
Your Impact
- Ensures that compliance with State and Federal EPA regulations is maintained across multiple facilities
- Manages the global environmental process to prevent and eliminate incidents at all facilities
- Acts as a subject matter expert resource to management by providing leadership for all aspects of the environmental program to include tracking and reporting
- Ensures all required reports are accurately completed and submitted in a timely manner
- Provides training and leadership for management and associates, in accordance with applicable regulations
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Industrial Hygiene or related Technical field
- Understanding of National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAPS), Clean Air Act (CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA)
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in an industrial setting that includes demonstrated participation in Environmental processes and sustainability reporting
