Direct Support Professional / DSP / Caregiver

Would you like to give compassionate and reliable one-on-one care to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the comfort of their own homes and communities? We are looking for experienced Direct Support Professionals (or those who have personal experience with the I/DD population) to work with adults near you as we support them in reaching their goals and gaining independence.

Job Responsibilities for DSPs

• You will provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)
• You will accompany clients on errands and appointments
• You will spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
• You will assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• You will participate in community integration activities

Qualifications for DSPs:

• One year experience working with I/DD individuals; If you do not have this experience, training may be available through our apprentice program
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
