Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the faculty member is teaching finance courses in the College’s undergraduate and graduate programs.
This position is grant-funded; employment is contingent upon the continued availability of those funds.
Essential Functions
- Teaching finance courses in the College’s undergraduate and graduate programs. Drexel University operates on a quarterly academic calendar, and the typical teaching load will be three courses per quarter.
- In addition, the faculty member is expected to serve the Department, College, and University by participating on committees and engaging with students.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Master's Degree in Finance or a closely related discipline from an AACSB-accredited institution or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum of Experience teaching finance or business related courses.
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD or Doctorate preferred.
- Professional designations, such as a CFA charter or CFP, are highly desirable.
