Overview

We are looking for a Sales Inventory Valet that can thrive in a demanding and very fast paced environment. This is an entry level position with a chance to learn about the automotive industry. At Longo, the opportunities are endless, and can promote from within into roles such as a Service Consultant, Service Technician, Sales Consultant, and many more. This is a full-time position with some schedule flexibility, includes weekend shifts; as a Longo Team Member you would get to work with an amazing team surrounded by only the best.

 

*This position is 100% on site at Toyota of Prosper in Prosper , TX.

Responsibilities

• Logs new pre-owned vehicles delivered to the dealership and compares serial numbers against invoice.
• Inspects vehicles to detect damage and to verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice.
• Verifies vehicle paperwork before releasing vehicle to third party.
• Parks pre-owned vehicles in assigned area.
• Catalogs and stores keys
• Moves vehicles, as directed my management.
• Prepares and delivers sold vehicles to guests.
• Maintains the parking lot in a neat and organized manner.
• Makes sure all the vehicles in the sales parking lot are kept locked.
• Must follow all company safety policies and practices.
• Assists in all other areas of the sales department, as needed.
• Maintains high ethical standards in all actions.      
• Maintains professional appearance.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent desired.
• Minimum of six (6) months customer service experience, desired.
• Ability to coordinate activities with other employees; pay attention to detail; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language; work well with the public.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.

• Frequently bend, stretch, twist, or reach with their body, arms, and/or legs; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions including low and high temperatures, precipitation and wind, noisy environments, and small and/or enclosed spaces.
• Adjusting, moving, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
• Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
• Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Operating motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
• Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
