Project Engineer

Streamline is seeking an entry-level early career project engineer to be responsible for general oversight of various capital engineering projects for water and gas treatment facilities. Responsibilities include project management support of fabrication and field construction, start-up, new plant installations, process improvement projects, and other construction management projects.

• Support the project management team with procurement, fabrication, and construction activities
• for all capital projects.
• Identify efficiencies in fabrication and construction process to meet schedule and budget
• requirements.
• Track and control costs, report variances and anticipate overages or savings.
• Work with project managers, operations group and customers to commission new plants.
• Manage multiple vendors and third-party contractors to meet schedule and delivery requirements
• along with budget deliverables.
• Provide on-site technical support for fabrication, installation, and field construction tasks.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in mechanical, chemical, process engineering; or relevant technical degree
• required
• 1+ plus years’ experience in a project engineering/project management role required
• Proficient in excel required
• Experience with MS projects or Asana preferred
• Valid Driver's License required
• Valid work authorization in the United States
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift a 50lbs or more at a time required
• Able to pass drug, alcohol, driving, physical, and background check
• Ability to travel 30% or more during the years for work on site locations required.

Work environment

• Work environment is a professional office setting, travel to site locations, fabrication facilities,
• and customer offices will be as needed based on project requirements.
• Driving to and from location is required.
• Compliance with general industry and site-specific safety policies is required

Physical requirements

• Must be able to push, pull, and lift a 25lbs or more at a time required
• Must be able to stand for as long as up to 4 hours
• Must be able to drive on behalf of the company
