Engineering Director - Technology Services

IQVIA Digital Enablement is seeking an Engineering Director to support cloud infrastructure. This newly formed role will lead our site reliability engineering team, cloud engineering team, DevOps and Monitoring teams.

As a technology leader with a contagious passion for your work, you will set the direction for the assigned teams, all the while taking into consideration the team’s input and aspirations. You will hire, mentor, and coach talented DevOps engineers, Site Reliability engineers, cloud Engineers and team leaders. You will ensure that everyone feels included, that priorities and goals are well understood at all times, and that everyone acts with a sense of purpose and ownership. You will also support the career growth and professional development of your team. You will partner closely with technology teams within our business unit as well as the larger IQVIA teams to ensure steady progress towards our Strategic goals, to remove blockers, and to reinforce a shared understanding of the company goals and product vision.

Essential Functions
• Manages an organization of multiple managers and senior-level professionals and ensures that a consistent design, deployment, and maintenance process is followed for all sites and systems.
• Develops and communicates functional strategy and objectives in alignment with IQVIA's business strategy and operations requirements.
• Establishes overall business strategy for the organization with significant impact on the success of company operations.
• Negotiates with and influences decision-making at the senior management and executive level.
• Provides coaching and guidance on job performance and career development to direct reports; builds and directs talent-building and development objectives for the organization.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
• Twelve (12) years of systems analysis and software development experience

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $142,800.00 - $291,200.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
