SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the accurate preparation and reporting of all cost and other financial information in the plant. This includes gathering and processing information to generate daily and weekly production cost reports preparing weekly and monthly costs and monthly reconciliation of balance sheet. This position will assist in the preparation of the annual operations budgets and is responsible for ensuring adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Tyson s accounting policies. Other duties may include payroll for all location team members and completing other special projects as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. Associate's degree with active pursuit of Bachelor's also considered.

Experience: 1 plus year preferred

Computer Skills: Standard computer skills including Excel generating spreadsheets and word processing skills writing macros and preparing complex graphic presentations; broad SAP knowledge including purchasing materials management and product costing.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Special Skills: Must work well in a team environment and be highly organized and detail oriented.
