Job OverviewSaronic is looking for an exceptional senior accountant to join the accounting team supporting a rapidly growing international manufacturing organization. You will be responsible for analyzing and reconciling balance sheet and P&L accounts, ensuring transactions are properly accounted for in our financial systems. You will also work closely with members of the accounting team and throughout the business to improve cross-functional processes and the related system solutions. You will be an instrumental part of creating and maintaining the policies and procedures needed to scale our organization.

You will be responsible for analyzing and reconciling balance sheet and P&L accounts, ensuring transactions are properly accounted for in our financial systems. You will also work closely with members of the accounting team and throughout the business to improve cross-functional processes and the related system solutions. You will be an instrumental part of creating and maintaining the policies and procedures needed to scale our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute complex areas of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring deadlines are met and all accounts are reconciled accurately.
- Prepare, review, and approve complex journal entries, ensuring appropriate supporting documentation is maintained.
- Own the execution of month-end close cost allocation processes, partnering with Accounting and Finance to design and refine scalable methodologies for allocating shared and indirect costs between cost of revenue and operating expenses.
- Perform detailed reconciliations and analysis of assigned balance sheet accounts, particularly those requiring complex judgment (e.g., accrued liabilities, intercompany balances).
- Assist in the preparation of internal financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Support audit requests and ensure documentation is organized and complete.
- Identify and implement workflow and system improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and automation.
- Collaborate on the development of policies and procedures as we scale our organization
- Manage multiple tasks with strict deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and build strong cross-functional relationships across the organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP), practices and procedures
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret financial documents and contracts
- Ability to think critically about transactions and suggest out of the box solutions
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Strong MS Office skills (pivot tables, xlookups, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
- Ability to solve problems as they arise
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Public accounting experience, preferably within the Big 4
- Netsuite experience (preferred) or other accounting ERP experience
- Experience in a fast-paced, rapidly scaling organization
