Unit Summary:

West 1 is a 18 bed, locked, DPH and DMH licensed unit which specializes in the care of adult geriatric patients who require a secure setting.

South 1 is a 16 bed, locked, DPH and DMH licensed unit which specializes in the care of adult geriatric patients who require a secure setting.

Staff will float between the two units

This inpatient unit provides treatment for psychiatric diagnoses including major depression, bi-polar illness, schizophrenia, personality disorders, psychotic episodes related to the diagnosis of dementia, pain anxiety/disorders, substance abuse, etc

Qualifications: 

• RN Massachusetts license required

• Associates required

• Bachelors preferred

• BLS preferred

Hours:  36 hours/week- day/evening rotations

Every third-weekend rotation
