ABOUT THE ROLE
The Manager, Strategic Commercial Finance plays a critical role in driving Tenneco’s commercial analytics, revenue performance management, and strategic growth initiatives. This role is responsible for analyzing top-line revenue performance, benchmarking results against external market data sources (e.g., IHS / S&P Global automotive production data), supporting revenue forecasting and strategic growth planning.
Working closely with the Senior Director, Commercial Finance and cross-functional commercial, strategy, and finance teams, this position will deliver data-driven insights that help guide commercial strategy, identify growth opportunities, and support both organic and inorganic expansion initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead analysis and reporting of top-line revenue performance, including customer, program, platform, and regional performance trends.
- Compare internal revenue results against external market benchmarks (e.g., IHS / S&P Global production forecasts) to evaluate market share, customer performance, and competitive positioning.
- Develop analytical frameworks and reporting tools that track revenue growth drivers, market trends, and OEM production dynamics.
- Own data consolidation and analysis for monthly revenue reporting process, including scenario modeling
- Provide commercial insights to support strategic planning and growth initiatives.
- Partner with commercial and strategy teams to analyze customer performance, win rates, and growth opportunities.
- Drive strategic organic growth initiatives including portfolio expansion and market share opportunities.
- Evaluate inorganic growth opportunities including acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic investments.
- Prepare of executive-level reporting and presentations summarizing revenue performance and market insights.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Strategy, Sales, and Business Unit leaders.
