Seasonal Utility Technician

Description

The Pest Control Utility Technician will interact with the company’s customers working in tandem with the sales team to complete initial services to protect our customers' homes. They are the initial point of contact when conducting services to customer’s homes/ business. They are responsible for providing  a high level of service  to every customer for every service they provide.  Utility Technicians will inspect and perform pest control treatments for customers using high-quality and environmentally responsible products. You'll follow a daily schedule of services while exemplifying excellent customer service and professionalism. They will be assigned to any job type needed for any given shift, including termite bait and station installation, crawl space and attic product removal and installation.  

Primary areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

?  Interacts with customers via telephone, email, text, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.

?  Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services.

?  Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to the assigned               specialist or other appropriate staff (per escalation protocols).

?  Follow a daily schedule, ensuring timely arrival at all accounts.

?  Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.

?  Meeting or exceeding monthly goals with daily/weekly/monthly proposals goals and sales quo

?  Entering and communicating leads received through multiple channels into the database with appropriate service suggestions.

?  Modifying service orders and daily schedules to meet the demands of a dynamic service atmosphere.

?  Capturing accurate and complete information in Customer Relationship Management System

• Performs all scheduled services in accordance with operational guidance, product labels, and trained best practices.

?  Participating in training sessions, meetings, skill building, and professional development classes including virtual and self-guided online training modules.

?  Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education, License, Certifications, Experience

?  Completion of intermediate studies, including high school diploma or GED - preferred

?  2+ years of relevant work experience in customer facing, industry specific role – preferred

?  2+ years Sales experience – required

?  Professional communication skills – required

?  Experience with CRM and soft phone software - preferred

Work Environment / Conditions

The work environment/conditions described herein are representative of those that an incumbent may experience.

?  Must be comfortable working in confined, dark spaces (crawlspaces and attics).

?  Must be able to work in multiple platforms to report and record work orders and communications, and complete and secure all personnel related training and data.

?  Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands with weekend availability required.
