What you will achieve
As the Director of DevSecOps, you will command our DevSecOps team to streamline and enhance software delivery, ensuring the highest quality of service in both cloud and on-premises environments. You will exercise full ownership over complex technical challenges and team management, guiding the team's goals, strategy, and execution. This is a high impact role, and an opportunity for personal growth through leadership experience and the mastery of advanced DevSecOps practices within a demanding DoD context.
You will report directly to our CISO and Director of Technology Operations.
About You
The ideal candidate has solid experience in cloud and on-prem systems, a strong background with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) IT, and experience in leading DevSecOps teams. Your role will include both overseeing the team and diving into technical tasks when necessary, as well as offering solutions to complex issues and incidents, often in close collaboration with DoD counterparts.
This position requires Secret security clearance and some travel (approximately 20% of the time).

Qualifications
BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field
2+ years leading a DevOps team, preferably with remote or widely spread out members
3+ years working with DoD IT, understanding its network types, and maintaining authorizations like ATOs and ATCs
5+ years in DevSecOps, using tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform, with solid experience in container orchestration
Expertise in both cloud and on-prem systems
Must hold a Secret security clearance
Must hold a DoD approved 8570 baseline certification (ex. Security+ or CISSP)
Must be available to travel up to 20% of the time
