Position Summary

As the Materials Accounting Coordinator, you will work with the Accounting Team alongside Factory Operations, Procurement, external vendors, and others to manage inventory control and material accounting systems while ensuring compliance with Nestle accounting standards and company policies. You will drive cross-functional actions across multiple locations to properly handle aging stock and destruction of material within guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Complete goods receipts of direct materials into outside storage facilities, including verification of proper paperwork from vendors.
  • Goods-receipt/Invoice Receipt review for stock materials to ensure proper receipt and payment to vendors.
  • Reconcile and monitor inventories at the factory, coordinating and executing physical inventories at outside storage facilities to ensure compliance with operating standards.
  • Monitor aging stock and stock disposition for destruction as needed, ensuring compliance of several internal and external groups.
  • Execute periodic financial audits as needed.
  • Execute monthly closing activities for materials accounting and reporting of monthly results.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Basic Qualifications (Minimum)

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1+ years’ materials accounting OR production systems experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military, or related environment.
